Shizuka expresses deep gratitude for the opportunity to create the temporary theatre design and art installation project for the Giortes Rokka Festival, inspired by the powerful scenery of archaeological Trouli Hill in Rokka. Drawing on the theme of reflection, she designs a circular stage resembling this year's full moon, symbolising protection for the Rokka and Kera villages. Constructed with materials sourced locally, the temporary theatre features a nine-meter diameter stage surrounded by a shiny striped surface reflecting the changing sky. Against the backdrop of the sacred Trouli Hill, the location will illuminate in the light of the full moon, embodying the spirit of this year's festival.
