Kaku
Scenography and Lighting design
Kaku is a solo dance performance, which combines Japanese traditional dance and contemporary dance technique, in a story based on the choreographer’s experience and perception in Japan.
Her intention was to create a contemporary scenography by interpreting traditional japanese elements within a European framework.
A Film is projected on “Byobu” screen, which also make Japanese traditional theatre atmosphere using traditional Japanese Architectural proportions. “Tatami” proportional wooden floor are painted in gold and others different colours.
