SHIZUKA HARIU

Dr Shizuka Hariu, scenographer, seamlessly merges design and architecture, leaving an indelible mark on global stages. Notable works include the opera Super Angels in Tokyo and opera Written on Skin at Suntory Hall, Sacred Monsters at Sadler’s Wells. She earned two Bronze Medals at World Stage Design 2022 and 2017, Japan Space Design Award, D&AD Award, and many others.
Co-directing SHSH Architecture+Scenography, Shizuka is dedicated to pushing design boundaries.
